About 2017-05-04T18:27:59+00:00

Agapé is a Greek word used in the New Testament for unconditional acceptance and love that God has for us. It is an unselfish love, which arises from a keen sense of the value and worth of the one loved. With that in mind, we offer counseling that integrates Biblical truth with psychological principals in the healing process.

Agapé was founded in June, 1998 by Ann Noonan. To learn more about the history of Agapé visit the history page.

We provide counseling, psychotherapy, training, consultation, and other helpful services to children, teens, adults, couples, families, groups and organizations. Our association with local churches provides us the privilege of joining God in touching the lives of hurting people. While committed to an orthodox Biblical approach to therapy, we welcome all people who seek counseling, regardless of religious background.

We are a non-profit organization with several locations in the Charlotte and surrounding areas.

What is Christian Counseling?

Christian Counseling integrates all that is valid from clinical counseling with biblical truth and faith in Christ. It is the professional process of coming alongside someone experiencing personal pain with the depth of both psychological and theological perspectives.
