Dr. Hayes is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and has done therapy for over 20 years. He holds a masters degree in theology from Dallas Theological Seminary. Bill served for 5 years as a missionary doing church-planting in Cote d’Ivoire, West Africa. After completing his doctoral studies in Marriage and Family Therapy at Fuller Theological Seminary in 1990, Bill served as a counselor to missionaries for 6 years.
Bill’s burden is to help people find Jesus and then learn how to live in His Kingdom. This means growing in spiritual maturity, appropriating Jesus’ healing, and learning to love God more in a local community. His belief is that we are transformed into the likeness of Christ by “beholding Him”: thinking and living in the presence of God. (2 Cor. 3:18)
Bill and his wife, Bonnie, have 4 grown children and 4 grandchildren. His hobbies are reading, hiking and climbing trees.
