Louise Suggs began working with Agape Christian Counseling in 2008. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from North Carolina A & T State University in Greensboro and an Urban Ministry Certificate and Master of Arts degree in Christian Counseling from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary in Charlotte, North Carolina. Louise graduated Summa Cum Laude and became a member of the Psi Chi, a national honor society in psychology in 2007. Her training in the field of human services and counseling began in 2002, when she worked at a local high school as a mentor to teenagers in the Charlotte area. Through this experience, Louise felt God calling her to attend Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. While completing her degree, she interned with Carolina’s Medical Center Intensive Outpatient Treatment as a co-therapist for the Dual Diagnosis and Substance Abuse groups. She continued her training by working with churches and other community organizations doing individual and group therapy. Louise is a certified PREPARE/Enrich premarital and marital counselor and a member of AASECT. She enjoys time with her husband and son during her spare time.
Specialties include individual and couples therapy, adolescent therapy and small groups/group therapy.
