Galina is certified as a Prepare-Enrich facilitator in pre-marital and marriage counseling. She enjoys helping couples rebuild their relationship after the discovery of an extramarital affair or separation. Galina utilizes her training in EMDR to help those that have experienced traumatic events in their past to gain control over the intrusive thoughts and memories, and find relief from post-traumatic symptoms.
She also offers clinical supervision for provisionally licensed therapists and presents at workshops and seminars on counseling related topics. Galina integrates Biblical principles with sound psychological insights with those clients who desire to incorporate faith and Christian practices into their healing process.
Galina enjoys reading, hiking, traveling, and most of all – spending time with her husband and their two children.
Personal Statement: “I believe that my relationship with you as my client is one of the most important things in helping you. Therefore, I will take time to listen to your story, find out about your goals for coming to counseling and work with you in designing the best ways to achieve them. If you struggle in your marriage, I will assist you in learning tools that can help you reconnect and rekindle your love for each other. If you feel discouraged and lonely, I can guide you in how to build satisfying relationships, experience joy, and discover your life’s purpose. If you are held back and crippled by anxiety, I hope to provide a safe place for you to understand the origins of your fears and learn how you can either cope with them or overcome them. I am passionate about helping others navigate through the process of growth and change.”
